I personally have a mobo that is ~ a year old, and it is a semi higher end one. It does have the high end sound chip in it with "theater sound" supposedly build in. While this chip was a drastic improvement over my old rigs built in L/R stereo, my SB X-fi kicks its ass!

Why is his post double spaced? I would concur with rob that the game changes the resolution to a ~ or resolution that is out of range for your monitor. When my rig is hooked up to my 32" I run across this problem from time to time and recieve a simular message. Happy gaming when you get it...

I just got in to some 3d work... so far im still too embarassed with the stuff i produce to really share it. That however is insane. My only real question is, why can game developers make games like this?
