    CARD READER

I thought I remember reading the problem seems to be compounded by the size of the SD cards, like some don't seem to like larger capacities? Anyone confirm this?

    Huge 2x120mm Air Cooler!

But remember when circuit boards weren't wafer thin? Wasn't imagining the CPU cooler coming off, but more like a chunk of motherboard and the CPU cooler falling and taking out a SLI setup on their way down.

    PCs are bloated

Just HP outsells Mac by more then 7.5 times. OS X is a pretty good piece of software, which only has one major flaw, market-share. I don't see the need for Apple hardware. Give me OS X with PC hardware prices and I'd be happy.

    PNY PR Horrors

Having sent many a review request out, the typical feedback is nothing. I understand how many zillion requests they must get. But jeez it would be nice to get some reply, even if it is a no. One company really impressed me stating they looked at the site's traffic rating and it wasn't enough...

    Looking for a digital thermometer

I've never used one until now, but at work we have a laser thermometer. Last winter, they went along a frozen pipe with it and immediately spotted the problem area, put some heat on it and presto it was fixed. Of course I had to hit the office computer with it. 4 degrees difference between...

    PCs are bloated

I've always though of Macs as computers for girls. Maybe it's the white colour theme? I'd have to wrap it up in black leather then use a picture of flaming skulls and naked babes for my wallpaper.

Watch this... and you may be able to die happy.

Good movie. But I don't like Halo type games.

    Looking to upgrade - suggestions?

I looked at the latest weekly flyer from Canada Computers... and saw they had most the stuff you were discussing. Thought I'd list some of the prices... Intel Core 2 Due E6600 - 2.4 GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 1066 MHz Front Bus - $358.67 Asus P5B Premium Vista Edition - Intel P965 _ICH8R Chipset...

    Looking to upgrade - suggestions?

Even if you have all the computer knowledge in the world, there's only one really good reason to build your own system --> $$$. CPU's don't go on sale much. But the other components do. So grab them when they do. When an ASUS SLI motherboard went on sale I was all over it. Is the brand of...

    OCZ Equalizer Laser Gaming Mouse

I love adjustable mouse resolution. In some games, you want the fastest setting to nail the other shooter first, but it's too jerky if you're controlling a vehicle or plane. Another thing, set it for extremely fast and it drives my wife crazy. Also, right-handed ergonomics isn't very nice...

    Toms Hardware sold?

I can't get over that price. Personally I like smaller sites better. However it's very hard for a smaller site to do much side by side comparisions.

    Razer Barracuda AC-1 Sound Card

The review was awesome. A big part of the decision for me would be $ rather then quality. The only thing I was left with wondering about... how does the LED Razer logo look when it's dark?

If Mac OS was offered on PC, would you buy?

I wouldn't buy Mac OS if it was offered on a PC because it's such an extreme security risk. The only reason they're secure is because they're so small nobody bothers with them. If OS X went mainstream, the hackers and viruses would severely handicap it. And forget about AMD in your laptops...

    WiFi is completely unstable...

Try wrapping your entire house in tinfoil! Seriously, having worked for a major ISP before, have you called them? I've seen people troubleshooting their wireless, when their real problem was a bad internet connection. If you're on DSL service make sure each phone/fax machine/dial-up modem...
