Sorry for bumping an older thread. But I don't suppose you ever did try using Dolby Headphone with EAX on the Xonar? Or if that is even possible with this card, I don't know. Also, why didn't you use cmss-3d for the x-fi? I thought that was almost required in order to get positional audio...
