From our front-page news:
As I found out first-hand this past CES, EVGA is very interested in branching out to cater to markets other than PC gamers, and that was obvious with the launch of their PCoIP. That product allows you to literally place your beastly machine somewhere far from where you plan to sit your monitor, and you can still use it via your home network. The product is currently very expensive, but it's certainly going to please anyone who picks one up (imagine playing your high-end games but have no computer in front of you... pure silence).

The more im on my 1680x1050 the more I am wondering how I ever got used to being on something smaller. Its the first thing I work to correcting after a reinstall/install/driver change these days.
I laugh at the x900. HAH! |

1440x900 is a really wacky resolution, is that supposed to be a 15" widescreen?
Oh, actually it's a 17" made "widescreen"... It'd be cheaper to buy six 17" widescreens and duck tape them together, although you obviously wouldn't get the stand...

1440x900 is a little odd, but they are mainly testing the waters first to see how they sell, rather than go nuts and release some really high-end product that no one wants. Personally, I think it's a cool product, but it really has no relevance to gamers. EVGA is clearly interested in branching out as much as possible, so we need to get into a mindset that not everything they release is going to be gamer-oriented, like they have been up to this point.
