Default Post a picture of your mobile PC!

This seems to do well in other forums, so I thought I would throw it here as well. If you are proud of your Mobile PC, including PDA's, feel free to post a pic of it here! Ahh.. how geeks get off.

Good to see that everyone has the Inspiron models, and not the Latitude.

For those of you who do not know, the only difference between the models, except for the price, is the little hook that allows it to hook up to the dock. You pay more for the Latitude D series, and get EXACTLY the same.

(This info is correct as of the CPX series, as I used to work for em)

I didn't get a Latitude because I didn't want to pay more $ for something I am only using for normal everyday things. I rarely game on the thing, but it DOES play games better than most Latitudes.

Someone gaffled my digital camera so a brief description will have to do.

Acer 1681

1.5 GHz Pentium M 915 Centrino (Dothan Core )
1 GB Crucial PC 2700 (512 x 2)
Radeon 9700 Mobility 64MB with Omega 5.6 Catalyst driver
15.1" inch widescreen

This isnt the best notebook but I can play most all games at a reasonable setting. I have gotten 32K on Aquamark3 with this notebook as well so its a capable machine in its own right. I mostly use it to do render my CAD and Rhino projects at school and with integrated wireless A/B/G its a great notebook for conectivity on campus (and wardriving.) It's a decent rendering notebook and the Pentium M Dothans are monster CPU's! I wish I had a desktop system with that chip......they are FX killers!

That's a sweet video card as well. I hate my 5200FX Go. Do you find after playing games for more than 15 minutes, that they lag? My laptop is notorious for overheating and lagging gameplay. I hate it.

I hvae not had one problem with it yet. Doom 3 was a bit laggy but when I lowered the resolution a bit, all was well. HL2, CS:S, RoN....all my games play well enough on it. It certainly isnt a desktop replacement notebook but I am very happy with it. The Omega drivers are a blessing too, it raised my Aquamark3 score about 3000 points....I love Aquamark3, great beanch IMO. Anyway, email me back!

I picked up a Compaq presario 2200 from a lady that goes to auctions.
Paid 200.00 bucks and it just keep going each day all day long.
That's the one I painted the true fire onto the top.
