Default Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 Performance Preview

We took a look at Intel's first 45nm desktop offering a few weeks ago and already have a preview of it's successor. The QX9770 is equipped with a 3.2GHz frequency and is the first Intel CPU to support a 1600MHz Front-Side-Bus. Read on to see how it compares to the rest of our fleet.

You can read the full preview here and discuss it here.

The first Intel CPU to support a 1600MHz Front-Side-Bus is Intel Xeon Quad Core X5482!!! You wrong son! Compare QX9770 with dual socket CPU X5482! It's a shame no dual socket 775 CPU for QX9770, hohohoho...hoho

I was referring to the desktop side of things. We don't review server hardware.
