Default S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

Welcome to your next post-apocalyptic adventure. Taken place after the Chernobyl power plant disaster, this game effectively mixes the FPS and RPG genre together, and does so quite well.

You can read our review here and discuss it here.

Good review. I have been playing through the game for a while and it's difficult at times but a decent game none the less.

Is anyone else thinking 'Fallout 3'?

This whole concept sounds like a FPS adaptation of the Fallout series, maybe with a little less humor. I thought it was just an FPS until I read the review.

I guess I haven't played enough Fallout to understand the relation. To be honest, I also thought it was just an FPS until I played it, heh. I went strictly by the screenshots.
