In early July, the folks behind the popular Humble Bundle service strayed off the path of certainty and tried something no one was expecting: they sold music. The rules remained the same; the product was DRM-free, and it was offered to you in a common-sense format. Ultimately, this bundle failed to generate the sort of revenue the gaming bundles typically have, but it was an interesting test nonetheless. Whether we'll see it happen again, it's hard to say.
