Why can't we preorder this on Steam yet? I mean the game requires Steamworks and is going to certification, I don't understand why we can't buy it on Steam. Are they getting kick backs from Gamestop, Best Buy and other brick and mortar stores to not offer it on Steam until it's been released or so close to the release day that it almost guarantees these stores have the sale?

I wouldn't be surprised if the pre-order hit Steam about a week prior to its launch. I'm guessing that 2K earns less through Steam than it does through retail (which doesn't make sense), because why else would it be in an obviously exclusive agreement? Steam began offering BLOPS 2 pre-orders like six months before its release, so that's all I can figure.

It's dumb.
