They are awsome speakers There is tons of base and the tenor is pretty good. Their well rounded speakers :)

That does seem like a good deal. The satelites have 12W each, so that's better than a lot of sets I see for that price.

I'll jump to the conclusion in saying that the Harmon Kardon would be better. Just an assumption.

Actually, if SoundSticks are what you're referring to, I've never been very impressed with them. Try as they might, they're just little drivers, and are no good below 250-300 Hz or so. The sub doesn't have much heft to it, either. Also in the same class are the Altec Lansing FX4021, which were reviewed on this site. They sound excellent for their price, with bass that's clean and deep, not "thwoppy" like most computer subs tend to be.
