Bah, the pictures tell everything. It looks like they are calling it M2 instead of that gay AM2, which is good. There's 940 pins there as expected also.
That bracket really has be curious though, it's different.

It's in Dutch, actually, if you goto http://www.freetranslation.com/free/web.htm and paste url in, then pick Dutch to English you can understand most of it. Not everything is perfectly translated but at least it's readable.
I hope this turns out to be a great performer for AMD. DDR2 hasn't made much of a difference in performance between them and Intel yet. It'll be quite an interesting thing to see what happens.

Heh, it's damned near more difficult to understand "translated" than it is in its native lingo and I can't read Dutch.

I have to admit, Gigabyte makes some beautiful looking boards. Damn at some of those caps.. they are HUGE.

Or you can see the solution from MSI
It definatly looks better then gigabyte (atleast for my opinion)
Gigabyte really has some excellent looking boards, but a lot of people are complaining that they are low quality...
Unlike MSI, I hear from a lot of people that they are much better in every aspect.
I'm currently using ASUS board... but next one is definately going to be some MSI board..

I think a 939 socket is the best buy at the moment, and we have to wait an important time to buy a am2 cpu... for the price
