I have had a PSR GX76 Yamaha (http://www.musiciansnews.com/piano/29/psrgx76_keyboard.shtml), 76 keys keyboard for a while.
Here lately I have been using Frooty Loops to make some kewl beats.
I'd like to add my keyborad into the mix and make my own soundtracks.
I'm no pro at any means, I just get these projects in my head and then go after it with all I have.
I have a musical background with some training, I play 7 instraments so far. My jams have me wanting to save to file.
So, anyone have a setup for a keyboard, I would be interested in hearing of how to setup.

Got it and setting up.
As usuall the drivers that come on the disk are out of date, no vista drivers, but I found the latest at Yamaha site.
Now to set up FL 8xxl
What I want to do is to make background music for my race videos.
I'll post the first one at YouTube to see what everyone thinks

Could you post some more information and pictures of this setup? I have been thinking of getting a keyboard to play around with but heard that Vista is not nice with MIDI stuff. Thanks!

I found the Vista driver for Yamaha (http://www.global.yamaha.com/download/usb_midi/index.html)
I'm using the Midi to USB interface, Yamaha UX16 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Yamaha-UX16-USB-MIDI-Interface?sku=332007&src=3WWRWXGB&ZYXSEM=0)
OS on machine is Vista 32 bit
I'm checking out Frooty Loops Studio 8 (http://www.download.com/FL-Studio/3000-2170_4-10030774.html) Demo before buying
So far it works Great, I just can't save anything untill I make the purchase.

I think the trombone is the closest to the tuba that you can use...maybe a different keyboard

I highly recommend you check out Ronald Jenkee's YouTube page:

When I first listened to him, I was addicted. I bought his album and coincidentally just listened to it a few minutes ago (hence why I'm thinking of it). He also uses a combination of a keyboard (or two) along with FL Studio.
Might give you some ideas of what you could try.
