This is likely just a show model, but with the way temps keep rising, could it be the future?
Temperatures have certainly not become such a problem that a heatsink like that would be necessary. Although, one begins to imagine that with the pressure to make better, faster chips, how much the temperatures will rise.

It's hilarious that it requires SO much power. It's even more funny that a 1KW PSU couldn't even handle it.

It's a parody, that cig pack is PhotoShopped in. That's the same cooler that Greg reviewed a bit ago. For a fan to draw 1400W it'd have to be 60" in diameter...or bigger, that's over 116A at 12V.

Well, it could be just a show piece at Zalman too.

Even if it's a scaled up version of the 9550 (?) it's still not really going to need 116A to run the fan. That's like a 10H.P. motor.

Regardless of what kind of power it requires, your friends would crap themselves if they seen your PC with that thing hanging out.

Don't you mean that thing with your PC laying on it?
There's no way a pc could stand upright with that big bastard strapped to it.

Well no. But picture it that way.

Lol @ the thought of that!
Just imagining trying to support that heatsink and the size of case to hold it. You couldn't house it, what with it moving "26 cubic meters of air per second".
