Finally, we have another 64-Bit native game (http://www.steampowered.com/index.php?area=news&id=496).

I'll see about installing both versions and benching for any differences.

Hey Rob! I'm currently using a 4200+ X2 and have to say thanks for taking the time to check this out.

As per the Quake 4 "multithreading" issues with the newer ForceWares, did you happen to try an older revision with the 64bit version of HL2? I see you're using a Venice proc, but I'm still kinda curious to see the results. My connection's too slow to try to download HL2 all over again :(

Even better, if a kind user with an X2 could post some dual core 64bit results it would be appreciated :)
