What are you using your system for?
You need to post a few more details
Why are you upgrading...?
What CPU
What GPU
What PSU???

Well, I liked the EVGA 780i so much, I have two.
I don't know who said they run hot, mine don't.
Any system can run hot with bad airflow, some cases are better than others to run a cool system
Such as 3 120mm fans blowing out and 3 intake 120mm fans. Neat cabling routing can help.
Just check to see if the boards run crossfire or SLI....if you ever wanted to go in that direction....
There are a lot of great boards out there and new ones coming soon.
Stay tuned to the reviews here at Techgage:techgage:

Hmm, strange about the P5E having a bad rap. I've had great luck with the P5E3 Deluxe and Premium.
I don't have any real recommendations between those listed... since I haven't seen them. I do know I've liked the P5E Deluxe and also Gigabyte's X38-DQ6.

I read that if i upgrade the BIOS i will get some problems, people complain that the p5e BIOS have bad infrastructure at the ASUS forum, but i think that will be no problems if i use the right components, here where i live the P5E is cousting about 160$ dollars and the others mobo's listed on the list are above 200$. so the P5E will be mi cheapest option right now.
