This card works, but it isn't giving me everything that I wanted so it's on the boards. It's still installed in my case and unless I get a decent offer on it I won't pull it out.
It has a aftermarket passive cooler on it that keeps it below 53 even when benchmarking and my fan on the lowest speed. I'll run any benchmark for you if your interested. Purchased in Feb 08, original packing, software, manuals included. I'd like at least $30 for the cooler (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7248/vid-109/Arctic_Cooling_Accelero_S1_Rev_2_VGA_Cooler_nVidia _GeForce_8800_GT_GTS_G92_Radeon_HD_3850_3870_And_M ore.html) since it's installed or you can have the OE one with the fan.
Card on Newegg for 110 with a rebate.

I think the consensus was eVga 8800GT.
This one? (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130318)

Thats a Great choice...not just because I have two.
Seems they are very popular all over in benchmakrs and games.

Great minds must think alike. I'm in the middle of another hobby, electroplating!
I dropped off that heat sink from above to a place to do it. I told them they could do this for me if they teach me how to do small pieces in my basement so this might turn out good. I'll post pictures when I get it back next week.
How about a pair of these. (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3606193&Sku=P450-8834&SRCCODE=CNETFEED&CMP=OTC-CNETFEED)
100 at Tiger Direct with COD4 and 180 at Newegg. hm....

Why stop there?
I mean the 1GB one can't be any worse for 40 bucks more.

The one gig GPU has a lower clock (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2%2050001402%2040000048&Manufactory=1402&bop=And&SpeTabStoreType=1&CompareItemList=N82E16814130335%2CN82E16814130351)

It's not just about me, what about the earth?
The 512 isn't RoHS Compliant!
lol, I guess I'll have to decide which one when I finally get my mobo back from RMA. Until then, I have nothing but time, and finals.
