Hey guys, I just got BSOD. I have come to find that the cause of this is a faulty ram stick. Any suggestions on some kick ass gameing ram? hers my MoBo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131142
I'm not a memory expert, I prefer to geek out on GPU's CPU's.
Thanks fellow board members :D

Have you run any test on the ram like MemTest86+ or anyother memory test program?
And your memory has a lifetime warranty, you should just get it replaced.

For Windows.

And if you were/are happy with the ram you had, you might as well get another set because you know that it will run in your board, and its cheap as well.
This is the stuff I was running on my MSI 650I based board, and its got a nice special going along with it as well.
CORSAIR XMS2 DOMINATOR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
$99.00 - $20.00IR - $40.00MIR - $5.00 promo code "hardocp3245" = $34.00 with free shipping

I agree with sbrehm about running memtest if you haven't already.
As for ram, the ram that you had in there, according to the research I've done, is great ram. OCZ, Corsair, Geil and G.Skill are all great brands of ram along with many others. Just take a look on newegg or something for prices and reviews.

I didn't run mem test, but I didn't have to either. I just booted in safe mode looked at the error code and it told me it was the ram. So I took one stick out at a time and loaded up and found the faulty stick. I totaly forgot about OCZ'z lifetime warranty. I'm in the process of doing that right now thanks for the feed back fellas.

Ahh nice, lifetime warranties can come in handy.

Oh wow I didn't know OCZ had a lifetime warranty. I thought corsair were the only ones that did that :p
Damn I'm thinking I should have gotten OCZ ram now... -_-
