I can't decide about which CPU to purchase , and I confused between

Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9450

and

Intel® Xeon® Processor E5420

My motherbord will be
ASUS P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP @n :)

Welcome to the forums brother.

The main difference between those two CPUs is speed. Thee Q9450 is a 2.66 GHz CPU and the E5420 is a 2.5 GHz chip. The X3350 however is identical to the Q9450 so if your looking for a replacement for that chip, you might have better luck finding the XEON in stock.

Like Greg said, the X3350 is a GREAT choice, if you can find it in stock. It's identical to the Q9450, but in most cases, costs a little bit less.

The E5420 shouldn't be considered... it's a processor that's designed for dual-processor servers and is based on LGA771 rather than LGA775, so you would be unable to use it.
