View Full Version : How do I hook up my Logitech X-540 speaker system to either my dvd player or t.v?

I have a Toshiba 65H85C rear projection t.v and a Magnavox MRS90D6 dvd player. What exactly do I need to do to get the speaker system to work, and which one would be easier and more effective to connect through. The speaker box says I can connect through a DVD player but I cant figure it out. Do I need auxillary cables? Could someone please explain it as simple as possible. Thank you.

The speakers should have come with a 1/8" to RCA splitter.

You should be able to use this to connect audio from your TV to the speakers, but I can't think of a way to get sound from more than two channels off the top of my head.
