Holy shit that makes me sad as I can surmise that they are Japanese....my people do some of the messed up shit for gratification. Something, which the young scholar in me understands, is quite wrong. Oh well.

I don't remember anyone using pick-up lines anywhere, actually. Do they only exist as jokes? What if the girl is also a geek and rebuffs you by saying, "You remindme of something. Oh yeah, the blue screen of death! You know how we all react when that happens..."
