This is the Pico PSU. It is 80 Watts. Pretty bad ass if you ask me.

The front original buttons and LED are all functional.
The board is a 1GHz, with 512 of DDR

Looks great, how does it do for temperature?

I'm not a modder, but I would be at least a little afraid that using it might melt the cheap Famicom-style plastic.

Hehehehe.... nice!
The heat generation could likely be reduced by a side by side row of 40mm or 60mm fan placed near the cartridge opening. that would minimize the additional cutting, as there appear to be enough other exhaust points to push some of the heat out.

Does the hard drive cover vents? or are those just rectangular depressoins used to break up the flat surface?

I also noted you were using the pico PSU, how is that working for you?

:)

eventually i will be putting a cd rom right where the front cartridge will go. The heat will not be that bad if i keep the front open. The Vents are covered by the HD, but not too much.
Also there are vents on the bottom, and the CPU fan helps move air around the case.
The pico PSU us great for this application

That's a great idea to mod with that case.

You sure could fool your friends by playing a SNES emulator on it ;)
