Here's your opportunity to sound off about Techgage's site, and help us produce the best content that we can. We're interested to know what part of our articles you pay the most attention to - the photos, the testing results, the conclusion, or the whole thing. Your responses will help us ensure the best experience for all of our guests.
Thanks, everyone!

I can't decide which one to vote for. It depends on what is being reviewed. For example, if it's a case then the thing I pay most attention to are the photos. If it's a video card, then the results.
... so I vote for "it depends on the product".

The idea here is that this poll will provide us with information for making a targeted quality effort. Largely, it's simply my own curiosity. Many people I've talked to have told me that they tend to skip to the conclusion section of the article and read it first, and then go back and look at the rest of the article if they have any unanswered questions. It's not that any part of the article is generally unimportant - it's just that some people tend to be drawn to different parts of the article.
MakubeX, I totally understand what you're saying, and I agree. I personally tend to read the entire article, unless it's an especially long or boring one. In those cases, I tend to jump to the conclusion first. A lot of this is actually in the presentation - if the test data is easy to read and interpret, I like to take a look at it next, after reading the conclusion.

Personally when I read an article on another site, I generally read the entire thing unless it happens to be something I am not that interested in... just curious about.
I'd hope that most people would read most of the reviews, since a lot of time and effort goes into them ;-)

Unless it's an interesting product/something new, I won't read a review. However, I do use them completely before buying anything. The 22" Samsung I was looking at had some great reviews, but then as time past, it was found that they changed the panel being used (twice!)... without really informing anyone. Because of this, I'm thinking of boycotting Samsung altogether.
I'd also be interested in reading some reviews which were more 'personal' with the writer having a sense-of-humour style. Computer reviews seem to be so generic.

That's one thing we try to accomplish in our reviews, but we try hard as well to not go overboard. We definitely don't like to come off as hard-asses though.

As a rule I read the whole thing except for maybe the water cooling stuff, then I mainly check out the results/temps that you all are getting, most of the rest I'm pretty up to date on unless it's something brand new that I've missed somehow.
