And the new Q6700 (renamed from QX6700):

The 'classic' Core 2 Duo CPU's are still at regular prices, until Monday morning I assume.

I caved and bought an E6750. I'm building my new rig right now, and hoping everything works together ok. Here's what I got:

- XFX 650i Ultra
- C2D E6750
- Mushkin 550w modular psu
- 2 x 1024 Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500
- EVGA 7800GT CO
- Western Digital 500gb sata2
- Maxtor 400gb sata2

The only thing that might be a problem is the motherboard's memory voltages maximum is 2.1v and my ram is reccomended to run at 2.2v. Crucial says it will run fine on 2.1v though, so I'm crossing my fingers.
