Man... when is this going to end! I am still having a difficult time justifying the benefits of DDR3-1333, but DDR3-1800 (900MHz, PC3-14400) is just insane!

Sunnyvale, Calif—July 19, 2007-OCZ Technology Group, the worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, today unveiled the next step to achieving maximum performance on the latest PC platforms with the launch of the World’s first production PC3-14400 DDR3 modules. These OCZ kits are meant to set industry performance standards as well as accelerate the development of next-generation enthusiast platforms.

Looking forward to that review!

Do you have any word on when nVidia SLI motherboards using DDR3 will hit the shelves?

No one knows yet... NVIDIA is not giving out that information. I don't think even they know right now, since DDR3 adoption is not going too fast...

Good thing OCZ is on the case!

Nvidia has apparently been content with the 680i for a while now. It's about time the come out with another great chipset. Perhaps something to compete with the potentially awesome X38.

For the sake of enthusiasts, I hope to see an NVIDIA chipset for DDR3 around the X38 time. Their 680i overclocks memory like nothing else... so it would be nice to see some DDR3 <3 going on.
