Creative X-Fi Notebook

Creative finally released an express card sound device for notebooks.

It has optical in/out as well as true 7.1 output. They've had it up on their site for a while but I wasn't able to find it at any retailer online or offline until recently. I found it at Dell last week and went ahead and ordered it (normally don't even look here for accessories- don't flame me).

Its far from a PCI based X-Fi card but still a huge gain over most all stock notebook audio.

Hi there,

I just bought my X-Fi Card . I have a Dell E1505/6400 Inspiron , the card suits perfectly, but I have a huge problem : the installation CD doesn't work properly, so that I cannot install it. Can you help me with the drivers dor windows Xp for this card? Creative doesn't have any driver yet online for this card.. :(( only apps... such a shame. Please help me, I only need the driver, couldn't be so large in size...
